The Australian Women’s Archives Program presents the return of Winter Tales, with Meredith Hinchliffe as guest speaker talking about her passion for craft objects and the importance of giving.

All tickets include a delicious homemade afternoon tea that will be available after the presentation.

Winter Tales is an annual series of talks by a woman of note.

About Meredith Hinchliffe

Meredith Hinchliffe is an arts advocate, writer, critic and a donor to national and local cultural organisations. Her generous donations have supported the acquisition of significant works by local designers, artists and craftspeople. Meredith’s professional career in the arts dates back to 1977. Her work was recognised with an ACT Women’s Award in 2000, an Australia Day Medal from the National Gallery of Australia in 2011 and being honoured as a Member of the Order of Australia in 2022. Meredith is a National Library donor and served as a committee member for the Friends of the National Library in 2019 to 2021. She was a foundation member of the Women’s Electoral Lobby.
