Would you like to learn how to get the best out of your phone camera? Join us for a workshop inspired by the Library's Viewfinder exhibition and the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival theme of Sharing Stories. Facilitated by the team at PhotoAccess, 2022 National Photographic Portrait Prize Finalist Greg Stoodley will introduce you to tips and tricks for how to transform your photos from ordinary to outstanding.

Participants will venture outdoors to take photos in and around the Library, and are invited to submit their favourite image for our Friends Photography Competition. The winner will receive an NLA prize pack with a free 12-month membership to PhotoAccess, and have their image featured in the quarterly Friends newsletter. A runner up will receive an NLA prize pack. All submissions will be on display in the Friends Lounge for members and visitors to enjoy.

Light refreshments will be served. Places are strictly limited, register early to secure your place.
